What Help Can We Offer?
Support At Home
A support worker goes to the family home to either support with care tasks or to take over while parents and carers have some
well deserved respite. More often, these days, we take the service user out to access opportunities in the community. This service is available all day every day of the year.
Residential Respite
For a longer period of care we have two, four-bedded respite homes where people with disabilities, who are 18 years of age and over,
are cared for as if they were in their own home.

Recreation Services
Our Saturday Centres offer a range of activities for people with disabilities during the day each weekend. The evening clubs offer a wide variety
of social activities for young adults, sometimes based at our centre in Sparkbrook or visiting community facilities using our own specially
adapted minibus. Holiday playschemes for children and young people up to 19 years old are run in the Easter and summer holidays.
Training Services
We train our staff to both NVQ level 2 and 3 in care. People who have never
worked in the care sector before are offered the opportunity to gain their first experience alongside trained and
experienced staff in a group setting.
